中国三大海峡之一的琼洲海峡过往客滚船将换“新衣”，与过去不同的是，以往船舶涂装采用的是国外品牌为主，这次签约则水线以上全面采用国产品牌，1日记者从珠海威旗防腐科技股份有限公司获悉，该司中标湛江航运集团船舶年度用油漆标。
据双方签订的合同呈示，甲方湛江航运集团和乙方威旗科技约定水线上船舶油漆供应期，供应期限14个月，油漆的品种、规格、数量具体根据甲方船舶营运及修理需要，以甲方向乙方发出的《批次船舶营运及修理工程油漆供应进度计划》等资料为准。
该份合同与别的企业合同不同，附加合同条款非常明确强调了“廉洁条例”，如规定“乙方不得为甲方单位和个人购置或提供通讯工具、交通工具和高档办公用品等”条文还明确规定了违反合同要求的惩罚措施。
成立于1953年的湛江航运集团有限公司是一家港、航、厂合一的国有企业，2018年实现年货运量833万吨，客运量191万人次，港口吞吐量2038万吨，车辆吞吐量127万辆次，旅客吞吐量471万人次，产值利润超亿元。
而为湛江航运集团提供涂料的威旗科技，是华南地区【海洋船舶涂料】领军企业代表，该司高度重视环保产品的研发，十多年通过技术积累，突破技术难点，掌握核心技术，先后研发高性能高固含重防腐涂料、环保水性重防腐涂料等系列产品，目前 “蓝鲸1号”、广东台山核电站一期#1#2机组核岛HOF厂房水池内壁SPUA聚脲弹性体防腐施工、被誉为中国水工行业“航空母舰”的“铁建绞01”、第四条对澳供水管道外壁和内壁防腐工程等等中国重大项目均采用了该司研发的产品。
